Veterans Day occurs on November 11 every year in the United States in honor of the “eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” of 1918 that signaled the end of World War I, known as Armistice Day.
Every year, we celebrate and remember those who have served and take the time to understand veterans’ hardships.
Acknowledge Veterans who are women, LGBTQ+, or have disabilities.
The guide is a resource for organizations and individuals to honor Veterans and listen to their stories. Resources for education and conversation starters are provided for further learning opportunities and meaningful conversations.
